Tuition & Mentoring for Enthusiasts & Aspiring Professional Landscape Photographers to Create Art Instead of Photographs
Transition from ‘Capturing’ Photographs to Creating Soulful Art that Tells Your Story Through Bespoke Photography Tuition and Transformative Mentoring
An Introduction to My Creative Work and Mindset
Are you someone who feels stuck, uninspired, and unfulfilled in life? Have you found yourself searching for something deeper with your camera and your growing passion for landscape photography?
I'm Brad Carr, and I understand that feeling completely. Seven years ago, I was trapped in a soul-sucking corporate job, healing from my first heartbreak, and using the art of landscape photography to escape into the hills of Mid Wales in pursuit of a purpose. I intuitively knew a more meaningful and creative life was waiting for me, but I couldn't see the path forward.
Landscape & Nature photography and writing became my soul’s lifeline; not just hobbies, but tools for awakening, deepening awareness, and achieving emotional healing. Through the creative process, I discovered my true purpose and transformed my relationship with the natural world, myself, and, in turn, everyone around me.
The creative journey led me from feeling lost and confused to having my photographs and writings featured in international magazines, displayed in one of Wales' most prestigious galleries, and recognised on leading photography podcasts worldwide. I've published photobooks, spoken to thousands of people, made countless deep connections with many others, and built the foundations of a deeply meaningful and purpose-driven photography business, combining my love of photography and creative writing with personal development, philosophy, and spirituality.
I've learned that the technical understanding of the camera is just the beginning of a profound, life-changing journey. A truly magical personal and spiritual transformation is made possible when you learn to infuse your photographs with YOUR personal story, YOUR pain, YOUR growth, and YOUR unique perspective on the world.
If you're ready to move beyond taking pretty pictures and start creating meaningful art that reflects who you are at the deepest level — art that connects with others and nourishes your soul — I'm here to guide you on a truly remarkable journey of self-discovery and creation.
Through private, on-location tuition and bespoke mentoring programs, I help landscape and Nature photographers like you discover your vision, unearth your artistic voice, tell your story through your lens, and create pieces of art that make a genuine difference in the world.
Your deepest creative purpose is calling for you. Let's embrace this unforgettable adventure and journey together through the internal and external landscape towards growth, healing, and profound spiritual transformation.

“Brad’s style of teaching is that of a coach that wants to help you get the best out of your own vision and art. This is not about telling you what to do, it is about asking you to think about why you are taking that particular picture and how you might improve it. This is for those who really want to take their photography to a new level of meaning and thinking. It made me realise that the most important part of the experience is to be out in nature and to try and use my photography to share the benefits of how this makes me feel.”

Working with Me Might Lead You to Host a National Exhibition in a Prestigious Gallery
‘‘In May 2025, I was honoured to launch my solo exhibition in Plas Glyn y Weddw, the oldest gallery here in Wales. The exhibition brought to a head seven years of creative work and intensive soul-searching, showcasing my photography and writing to an estimated 20,000 people over a period of seven weeks.
Now, I am looking forward to working with other ambitious photographers, helping them find the meaning in their creative work that might make an exhibition like this possible.’’

‘‘Photography holds such great power as a form of art and creative practice. It can be transformational for the human spirit; the camera, a tool for personal and spiritual development that can lead a person towards a place of deep healing and greater self-awareness.
This art, for me, has been as much an alternative form of therapy as anything else. I walk now, a much changed version of myself in comparison to the version of me that existed before I reconnected with my soul through the art of Nature photography.’’

Use Creativity to Tell Your Story, Build Confidence, and Find New Purpose
‘‘For many years, I have been deeply passionate about helping people reach their full potential and become the best versions of themselves that they can be.
Before my photography career, I worked as a personal trainer and football coach. I have always loved helping people build confidence and expand beyond their limits and mental barriers to reach their ultimate potential.
When you come to me for guidance, I treat you as an individual, listening deeply and intently to your needs before deciding how best to proceed. To help you progress, I make it my mission to get to the core of the problem that you might be facing, whether that is personally, spiritually, or professionally.
Curiosity is the key to my tuition and mentoring approach, and I encourage you to come to me with an open mind, ready to embrace new concepts and ideas in pursuit of growth through my photography tuition and mentoring. I will always advise you to simply enjoy the journey of exploration and discovery and not to become too fixated on the results and rewards. Those will come when the time is right and your heart is true.

“I recently had the opportunity to spend a day with Brad for a one-to-one day at Lake Vyrnwy, and it was an incredibly productive experience. Brad had done his homework and put a lot of effort into creating a custom plan that perfectly matched my shooting style and workflow.
What impressed me most was his decision to leave his own camera behind, which allowed him to focus entirely on my work. This is something I hadn’t seen before, and it made a significant difference. He constantly encouraged me to think about what I was doing, how and why, pushing me to explore different perspectives and techniques.
The day was well-structured yet flexible, and I appreciated the emphasis on practical learning. It was a valuable session that has left a lasting impact on my photography.’’

‘‘Brad challenges you both as an individual and as a group making you reflect on your photographic style and approach as well as offering technical tips on technique and composition. Importantly, you get plenty of time to slow down and really consider what you are trying to get out of each photograph. Brad is not just about the photography but uses this as a medium to think wider and consider your own journey and philosophy. Highly recommended.’’
