Coming 2026

Connect & Create

Mindful Creative Wellbeing Walks with a Community Focus in Mid Wales.

What to Expect:

A quiet disconnection from the fast pace of everyday life.

These mindful creative wellbeing walks are designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself through photography & creative writing exercises, guided conversation, and time to simply be in nature.

A safe and supportive space, facilitated by creative practitioner and professional photographer & writer, Brad Carr

Intentional Structure

We blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.

Collaborative Energy

Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.

Expert Facilitation

Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.

A Supportive Space

Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

Reconnect with yourself and nature through creativity as you escape the noise of everyday life.

My Approach to this Work

I have worked with over 200 people in some way, shape, or form over the past four or five years, and I have learned that everyone is unique; each person bringing their own set of life experiences, challenges, and desires and goals to the landscape.

Whatever hat I wear — whether as a facilitator of creative workshops, artist, writer, or mentor — my primary aim is to listen deeply and use my empathy to understand a person before following up with a question or layering the conversation with thoughts and insights of my own.

I strive to create spaces that feel safe and supportive, so a person feels able and ready to open up and express whatever is inside their hearts. I have discovered so far that when a person feels met by my full presence, then their most beautiful and raw parts emerge from behind the mask. This is what I am creating through these experiences.

What Creativity Means to Me

Hello! I’m Brad Carr, and I’m a creative practitioner, professional photographer, and too many other things to name based in Welshpool, Mid Wales. Over the past 9 years, I have found solace and sanctuary amongst ancient trees and beside Wales’ cascading rivers with my camera in one hand and a pen in the other. Nature photography and creative writing have saved my soul and helped me heal in so many ways, leading me home to a place of peace and belonging inside of myself.

After many years of dreaming, I am excited to be able to launch these creative walks in the landscapes that have grown to be so close to my heart, and introduce others to the practices that have enriched my life so much since I began my creative journey in 2018.

I believe in the power of creativity as we strive to forge new ways of coexisting together here on earth, and I believe in the power of community as we can only heal and grow so much alone.
