I have been teaching photography for five years, and in that time, I have observed things quietly shifting internally in the collective of photographers.
The photography world is full of content: tutorials, techniques, presets, and shortcuts. The photographers I speak with, the ones who write to me, attend my workshops, and join me on my mentoring programmes, are not short of information. They are missing something else entirely; something fundamental for humanity’s wellbeing.
They are short of connection and community: intimate spaces where their deeper creative questions are taken seriously; where the reasons behind the photographs matter as much as the photographs themselves; where presence, intention, and authentic self-expression are understood as the very foundation of meaningful creative work.
That is what I have been busy building behind the scenes.
